Larry- Great post. Interesting contrast between the 1960s and today's top terms (especially the exclusivity related terms). I would suggest 4 other words that help get people to call, write, click and take action. Those are trust, rapport, relationship and connection.

I say this because, for example, regardless of what headline or buzz words you use, I almost always click on your material because I trust you, we have rapport, there's a connection and I value our relationship. I'm interested in what you have to say or do. Although not part of the post, I think these 4 items carry more weight today, especially with social, than old school marketing buzz words.

What a great post. I had book marked the post several weeks ago and finally got back to it. I'm sorry that I didn't get back to it sooner.

I agree with Mitch Jackson and add: testimonials and reviews certainly help people along in the decision process by building trust.
